Somebody managed to steal a funeral hearse while there was a deceased person’s body in the vehicle!
According to official reports, earlier this June an unnamed man stole a hearse from a funeral home located in Atlanta, US, while there was a body inside the vehicle, and later crashed it.
The man in question somehow managed to carjack a black Ford Flex hearse without any firearm. He stole the vehicle from Willie A. Watkins and drove it to a loading dock near Grady Hospital, where he crashed the hearse. There was a deceased person’s body inside the hearse, which was moved in the car from the Grady Hospital’s morgue earlier that same day. The unnamed suspect crashed the vehicle into the morgue’s gates before he finally abandoned it. The reports state that the man wasn’t done vandalizing and he hijacked another car, which was parked nearby – this time a Ford Explorer. Fortunately, the police was able to track down the man. He was quickly taken into custody for his unbelievable actions.
The reports show that this man’s story isn’t the only striking case involving hearse theft recently. Back in December 2014 another man stole a hearse holding a casket and a body in it from a church in Los Angeles, California, US. The suspect was believed to be mentally ill. Apart from this case, another man also stole a hearse with a body. The latter one was identified as a 49 year old man. He broke out of a nursing home and stole a hearse from Sydney, Australia.
