This is a medical condition, called situs inversus or oppositus which occurs very rare – less than 1 in 10 000 births. The child was healthy and looked normal, instead of being quite weak.
There is no requirement for surgery or transplantation in this condition. In fact many people find out this condition later in life. Nevertheless there are some possible complications.
