NASA has finally addressed the issue regarding the “asteroid apocalypse” and has spoken out about the disaster that might be facing humankind.
Rumors have been flying around the Internet and have been making headlines in the biggest news agencies, claiming that an asteroid apocalypse is heading towards our planet. In other words, some conspiracy theories have been claiming that a big asteroid will hit our planet later this year and will create an apocalypse on Earth with the destructive consequences of its collision with our planet. The so-called asteroid apocalypse will allegedly begin sometime between the 22nd and the 28th of September this year and will allegedly wipe out humankind.
So many people have popularized these rumors and have believed them that NASA has finally felt the pressure to speak out about the probability of such a catastrophe. The agency has finally shed some light on the situation and has claimed all of these rumors as nothing more, but untrue conspiracy theories. In fact, NASA stated that there is no such asteroid heading towards our planet. Not only that, but the agency also assured us that there will be no asteroid collisions in the upcoming few hundred years. Or in other words, the rumors are untrue and humankind won’t be wiped out by an asteroid apocalypse.
Nevertheless, many bloggers, who are passionate supporters of all sorts of end-of-the-world theories, still claim that the asteroid will hit our planet in September this year. On top of that, they also believe other natural and not so natural disasters will occur this year and will result in the end of our kind. Regardless of all those theories, if you’re still one of those people convinced that an asteroid apocalypse will occur this year, just try to remember all those predictions about the end of the world, which didn’t actually happen.
