The Canadian pop star continues to drive away the public with his recent actions. Plenty of scandalous news regarding the ‘Baby’ singer have appeared during his ‘Believe’ tour but the latest one is coming from Down Under. As Things You Didn’t Know recently wrote, people in Australia are not huge fans of Bieber judging by the disappointing sales of concert tickets. Obviously, there is a good reason for that.
The 19-year-old singer has demonstrated several times his passion about graffiti leaving his mark in Colombia and Brazil. While the first country allows street art, Bieber got in trouble for illegally spray painting a 5 star hotel wall in Rio de Janeiro. Apparently, he didn’t learn his lesson as he did it again, this time in a Gold Coast hotel in Australia.
Tom Tate, the mayor of Gold Coast, even sent a removal kit to Bieber but as the singer had already checked out of the hotel he didn’t get it. The mayor pointed out that a regular person would have to serve 80 to 100 hours of community service. Tate also stated that he would be happy with Bieber if he either cleans up his drawings or alternatively comes and sings Christmas carols for free at the Brisbane mayoral event in early December.
However, an unverified source claims that the free concert is just a PR move on Bieber’s part in a desperate attempt to win his Australian fans back.
