Are you one of the million people who simply hate waking up early and find getting up in the morning hours almost impossible? Well, there are several tricks, which you can use to make the waking process an easier and possibly a more enjoyable experience.
1. Set your alarm for an earlier time : first of all, even though every minute seems to matter when you are sleeping, it is a good idea to set your alarm for a time a little earlier than the one you need to get up at. This will allow you to have some time to prepare yourself for getting up and will save you the hassle of trying to get yourself ready in a meager 5 minutes.
2. Go to bed earlier : another great tip to help you get up easily that is just common logic. If you need to get up in the wee hours of the morning, then try to go to bed earlier on the night before. Even though you may be tempted to stay up until 2 a.m. and read a book or play games, think about the hours left until your alarm goes off.
3. Choose the right alarm noise : when picking up an alarm, choose a sound or noise which you can’t just ignore. After you choose the appropriate alarm, place your phone or alarm clock somewhere by your bed but out of reach, so that you actually need to get up to turn it off. If you aren’t certain that you will acknowledge the alarm, you can always ask a reliable friend to call you or come wake you up.
4. Let the sun in your room : once you get up, pull away those curtains and let the sunshine in. After you do that probably the best way to wake up your body and get ready for the day is to take a nice refreshing shower, then have some breakfast and a coffee.
