Emma Watson gave a wise advice to a depressed Brown colleague and inspired everyone with her words of wisdom.
Emma Watson keeps making headlines to her brilliance – whether it’s for her acting skills, her humanity or just her incredible fashion style.
Earlier this May an ex-colleague of Emma’s from Brown University shared with the media that even though Emma led quite an average college life at the IVY League school, she still ah-mazed her colleagues with her humanity and wisdom. Suzannah Weiss spoke to the media about how Watson once inspired all of her colleagues during a poetry club’s meeting. The British actress showed up at the meeting and witnessed a freshman expressing his depression in front of their colleagues. The guy apparently used spoken-word poetry to describe his loneliness and compared the feeling to the feeling of constantly waiting somebody to tuck him in before going to sleep, while that somebody never comes along. Emma felt like she should say something to the depressed student and ease his frustration. So, she spoke out loud then and there and said that he shouldn’t rely on somebody to tuck him in, because he can do it himself. She also told him he couldn’t love somebody else, unless he learned to love himself first and to rely on himself before relying on somebody else. Emma also told the student that she could completely relate to his feelings.
Weiss stated that everybody, who was present at the poetry club’s meeting, felt so moved and inspired by Emma’s wise advice that they didn’t cheer or applaud her – they showed their appreciation by snapping their fingers.
The 25 year old British actress is about to start shooting Disney’s remake of Beauty and the Beast, in which she will play the main role of Belle. The project is about to hit theaters in early 2017.
