You might find it hard to believe, but this person is actually willing to wait in line instead of you… for a fee, of course.
Meet Robert Samuel, a 39 year old New Yorker whose profession is a line sitter. A couple of years ago he was a phone salesman, but lost his job as he was always late for his appointments. Shortly after losing his job, Robert thought of a better one. He calls himself a line sitter as he gets paid to wait in lines for people who are too lazy, too busy or just tired of long queues. He charges only $20 an hour and his services are available when it comes to concert or musical tickets, fashion releases, daytime and late night talk shows, celebrity autograph signings and Meet & Greets as well as Apple product launches. That’s right – he’ll wait in line to get you that shiny iPhone 6!
Would you pay Robert $20 bucks instead of waiting in a huge line?
