Are you tired of your girlfriend’s demands to read your texts? Are you scared that your parents will go through your phone’s text messages when you least expect it? Worry no more, because technology comes to the rescue once again.
Jon Brod, a former AOLer, told the media about his latest invention. Brod and a team of colleagues have invented a crafty application which works on iOS and lets you sent traceless texts. The Confide app connects through e-mail accounts instead of phone numbers and destroys the messages later. They are available only temporarily and you wouldn’t be able even to snap a picture of the evidence you wish to hide. Since the application requires the user to place his/her hand over the phone’s screen, it makes it quite hard for photographing. And even if somebody manages to snap a picture somehow, the sender will be immediately notified. Furthermore, a notification will appear once the message is read.
The application is just a click away – and it’s completely free to download. That’s right – your secrets will forevermore be safe with Confide.
