Eminem’s Rap God became an instant hit shortly after it was released in late 2013 as a third single from The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (the rapper’s 8th studio album). The single was praised by music critiques and it even made it into the Guinness Book of World Records as the single with the largest word count – a total of 1,560 words. Eminem’s rapping skills in Rap God were widely praised and his rapping was dubbed as “supersonic”, because he managed to rap with an average of 6.5 words per second. During the verse Eminem does 97 words in just 15 seconds!
