Chandra Bahadur Dangi was born in 1939 in a Nepal village. As of 2012 he holds two Guinness World Records.
Dangi is a farmer and a craftsman by trade. He had been living in a remote Nepal village with his nephews up until a wood contractor saw him and brought him to the attention of the world. Dangi is 73 years old and weights just 15kg. His height is 1’’9’, which is 53cm in European standards. All members of Dangi’s family are of average height and doctors are still unable to tell the reason behind Dangi’s short stature.
In 2012 Dangi posed alongside Jyoti Amge, the world’s shortest living woman, for the 57th edition of the Guinness World Records. Nowadays Dangi holds records for being the world’s shortest living man and the world’s shortest adult human. He says he wants to travel the world and explore it. He also wishes to popularize his village and Nepal with the help of his titles.
