It looks like the economic situation in Greece is still a crisis, because reports state that the Greek have been taking some extreme measures in order to cope with their financial disabilities.
WHO, the World Health Organization, recently carried a new study, which showed shocking results. According to the study, the number of HIV infected people in Greece has jumped from 434 to 1,180 for 2012. According to the results, the majority of infected people are between the age of 25 and 39. Furthermore, reports state that the infected citizens can claim €700 a months and other privileges, such as easier access to various drug rehabilitation centers. WHO believed that Greek people are deliberately infecting themselves with the HIV in order to claim those benefits.
However, a recent update shows that they’ve made a huge mistake. Since around a half of the infections were observed among drug dealers, the Organization claims they’ve made a mistake by believing “anecdotal evidence”. WHO has publicly apologized for the accusations.
