How much would you pay for the perfect sandwich that cost 3 weeks of preparations? Apparently the chef thinks such a work of art is worth nearly $2,000.
Chris Large from the UK-based Honky Tonk fast food restaurant chain named his creation the “Glamburger”. Priced at $1,800 and boasting spectacular ingredients gathered from all around the globe, this is no ordinary burger. The glamorous product’s bread buns are coated with edible gold leaves and sprinkled with grated white truffle. It’s stuffed with black truffle brie, black Russian caviar, Canadian lobster, bacon dipped in maple syrup and tons of other pricey ingredients. The burger was confirmed to be the most expensive one in the world and one extremely lucky winner will get to eat it for free when he/she wins a contest on Groupon on the 31st of October this year.
