Ben Jaconelli was naive and distracted enough to leave his electric bike unlocked. It was just 20 minutes that he left it unattended but the Londoner discovered that his $4,200 worth means of transportation was missing.
However, Mr. Jaconelli was not only an owner of an expensive gadget, he also happens to be running FullyCharged.com, an online e-bike store. What is more, 30-year-old Jaconelli is also the only authorized dealer in the London area for Go Cycles. So when the thief needed to recharge the stolen bike he found Jaconelli’s number and gave him a call. The bike owner shared that he knew he was speaking with the thief the minute he asked for a Go Cycle charger. So the only thing left to do was find the thief’s address. Jaconelli and his business partner jumped into their old Army truck and showed up at the culprit’s house. Terrified that they were going to turn him in, the thief immediately returned the bike. Glad that he got his property back Jaconelli decided not to press any charges.
