Astronomers have observed a huge gas cloud that travels to the black hole placed in the center of the Milky Way and have estimated they are to collide in 2013. We will have the amazing chance to watch how the black hole sucks the gas cloud and this process will provide scientists with important information about the behavior of matter when it comes near a black hole. Astronomers are genuinely excited as such thing hasn’t been seen so far. The gas cloud was found to have increased its travelling speed twice for the last seven years. Calculations reveal that the cloud is really huge – it’s weight is three time bigger than the weight of the Earth. It is expected that the gas cloud will be stretched by the enormous gravitational force of the black hole, so the gas will be thoroughly ripped. This will undoubtedly be a spectacular view!
