Whitney Houston’s hit song I Will Always Love You managed to cause trouble for both passengers and staff members of the American Airlines shortly after Houston passed away.
In early 2013, an unnamed woman was traveling from Los Angeles to New York with American Airlines. For some unknown reason, not long after takeoff the woman started singing I Will Always Love You out loud. She continued singing the song over and over again. Finally the crew and the passengers couldn’t bear any more renditions of the hit song, so the pilot made an emergency landing in Kansas City. Local police officers were able to get the woman off the plane and arrest her.
That didn’t mean the woman went quietly – she continued singing her lungs out as she was being escorted off the plane in handcuffs.
