Taylor Swift recently proved that she doesn’t have just a sweet face, but also a golden heart.
Earlier this June, word on Swift’s act of generosity spread around the media. Back in 2013 the 24 year old I Knew You Were Trouble hit-maker made a $50,000 donation to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Nowadays Swift is touring, but the allocation of her donation just got publicized. According to Steven M. Altschuler, the hospital’s CEO, the best way to fully optimize Taylor’s donation is to set up a musical program for the children staying at the hospital. Altschuler believes that this way the kids’ and their parents’ spirits will be lifted and the children will be able to learn something while they’re staying in the medical facility. Thanks to the program the hospital will help the children benefit emotionally, since Swift is a huge inspiration for a great number of teenagers.
During her visit at the hospital Swift posed for pictures and signed memorabilia while spending some time with young fans and cancer patients.
