The missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 continues being featured in multiple headlines worldwide. However, the bigger mystery isn’t the disappearing of the plane, but the phantom cell phones, which were on board.
As the airplane, which was flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing disappeared from the radars on Friday near the Malaysian coast. Numerous worried families of the lost passengers tried connecting with the people through their cell phones. Surprisingly, the phones rang, but there was no answer. The “phantom phones”, as the media calls them, keep ringing, even though four days have passed since the disappearance of the plane. While many suspect the plane crashed, there’s a new hope for those who previously believed they had lost their loved ones. Since the phones, which were taken on the plane, keep ringing, the unfortunate families of those passengers believe they might actually be alive somewhere.
Currently 19 families have been able to hear the ringing tone of the phantom phones of their loved ones, but there’s still no answer on the other side apart from a ringing tone.
