The Gold Base of Scientology may seem like a little piece of lush, green Heaven in the middle of the Mojave desert from its aerial view. However, if you look closer, you might as well think about it as the Earth’s own Hell. There is a horrifying facility in the Gold Base, known by its unofficial nickname – The Hole. This repulsive facility serves as a solitary confinement for scientology executives.
David Miscavige, the current leader of the Church of Scientology, has reportedly sent countless men and women to the Hole through the years. It’s reported that around 2002 Miscavige began to abuse verbally and physically his employees whenever they would disappoint him. He would punish them by putting them in severe conditions for quite some time before he came up with the idea of ‘The Hole’.
The Hole consists of a set of trailers which were used by the international management team of the Church of Scientology. During the years it became a prison everyone feared. Life in the Hole equals living for months and even years away from the world, eating bad food, having no air conditioning and sleeping in the same place with up to 100 “prisoners”.
