It’s not a secret that a great number of multi-successful worldwide companies choose famous celebrities such as actors, singers, models and athletes to be the face of their campaigns in order to persuade the public to buy what their favorite celebs are using or advertising.
Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Ronaldinho, who was named the FIFA World Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005, has had a number of endorsements with huge companies such as Nike, EA Sports, Danone, Coca Cola, Pepsi and more. As one of the most expensive football players in the world, the 34 year old Brazilian received more than $19 million just from his sponsorship deals. Back in 2011 Ronaldinho signed a deal with Coca Cola. However, during a press conference he was caught with a Pepsi drink while he was still signed with Coca Cola. This automatically resulted in a termination of the contract with Coca Cola.
