Harrison Ford made a name for himself by starring in the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises. However, the 71 year old actor has to pass the iconic role of the adventurous Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones to a younger actor for the upcoming Disney remake of the famous series.
According to official reports, the producers have asked for a list of 10 suitable actors for the next Indiana Jones film and by the looks of it, Robert Pattinson is on top. The 28 year old Brit, who shot to stardom portraying the famous vampire Edward Cullen, has starred in a number of movies since he became known worldwide for his role in Twilight. The casting department believes Pattinson will be the perfect Indiana Jones for the upcoming movies. According to the reports, the filming for the first remake will start in 2016 and there will be at least 2 films made.
However, Harrison Ford isn’t ready to give up his role just yet. The actor last portrayed the notorious adventurer in 2008, but he’s more than keen to do it again.
