Over the course of the last few years a new disease called “Valley Fever” has been infecting and even taking the lives of many California and Arizona citizens. According to official reports, the fever’s breaking point was in central California, where it hit nearly 3,000 prison inmates.
The reports also state that a number of criminals, both former and present inmates, are now suing Schwarzenegger. According to them, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is California’s former governor, has to be held as responsible as the current governor Jerry Brown for those who died from the Valley Fever. The inmates claim that Schwarzenegger and Brown left criminals in the Pleasant Valley Prison albeit knowing the prison’s premises was exposed to the disease. The lawsuit claims the inmates should receive financial aid for medication.
The Valley Fever is believed to be spreading via fungus-laced spores. The warmer and drier climate of California and Arizona has made it easier for the disease to spread among people in recent years.
