Orlando Bloom sold his apartment in New York for $5.5 million just because Taylor Swift is his new neighbor!
Back in late 2014 the 38 year old British actor bought a loft in the Sugarloaf Warehouse building in Tribeca, Manhattan, New York, for $4.8 million. Bloom, who’s known for keeping to himself, was hoping to get away from the paparazzi and the flashes, so he sought some peace and quiet in Tribeca. However, shortly after his new neighbor Taylor Swift stormed the building, Orlando was forced to run away. Swift, who is known for her many A-list celebrity friends, has been having visits from teen idols like Karlie Kloss and Selena Gomez. Swift and her famous friends have been drawing hordes of paparazzi and desperate fans trying to get a glimpse of the A-listers. Not only that, but Taylor’s parties, which include iconic celebrities (take her last birthday in December for example), are making it kind of impossible for Bloom to stay out of the limelight. The attention the 25 year old pop star has been drawing towards the building has finally gotten on the actor’s nerves.
It’s been only 6 months after Orlando has moved into his apartment, but he has decided it was worth moving out. On the other hand, Taylor loves her new crib. According to official reports, the Blank Space hit maker allegedly paid $20 million for two gorgeous lofts with hardwood flooring and wooden interior columns in the building in order to modify them into a penthouse. The apartments were owned by the notorious Peter Jackson before Swift bought them.
Apart from Taylor, the Sugarloaf Warehouse building also hosts other celebrities such as Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen.
