If you are not a fan of the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer and were hoping to see less of her over the holidays this news will leave you disappointed. Miley Cyrus just announced that she has been invited by Ryan Seacrest to perform in Times Square for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
Of course, Miley won’t be the only star performing in Times Square. In fact, a whole constellation of celebrities will be entertaining the crowds in New York as well as the TV viewers at home. Among them are Fergie, Enrique Iglesias, Flo Rida, Jason Derulo, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Daughtry, Capital Cities, The Fray and Miley’s partner in crime from the VMAs Robin Thicke. However, he and Miley won’t be performing together as the singer has stated he wants to keep clear of Miley. The 36-year-old singer shared in an interview that he wasn’t aware of what Miley’s performance at the VMAs was going to be like so he “fell victim” to her actions.
The show is going to air on Tuesday, December 31 at 10 pm.
