There is a December tradition that the giant search engine company Google never forgets. Recently, the new Zeitgeist lists which show the most top trending terms that were searched by Americans were released.
These ‘end of the year’ reports demonstrate what really was on people’s minds when they looked up information on Google’s automatic word finishing search engine. Believe it or not, the results are somewhat disturbing.
According to the stats the most Googled person of 2013 year was none other than the scandalous tongue showing Miley Cyrus. She’s closely followed by Drake, Kim Kardashian and the teen graffiti spraying pop idol Justin Bieber.
In the category for most Googled song we have our favorite Harlem shake proudly earning the No.1 spot. The viral song that got hundreds of millions of people “Do the Harlem shake” surpassed songs like ‘Wrecking ball’ and ‘Thrift Shop’ which occupy, respectively, No. 2 and No. 3 spots.
Last but not least, the Google’s most searched event was the frantic Black Friday that got America in a wild shopping spree for discounted merchandise. Not surprisingly, the second most searched event was the Cyber Monday.
