Megan Fox will star in Transformers 5 reprising her role of Shia LaBeouf’s girlfriend in the popular Sci-Fi franchise.
Over the course of the past few months many rumors regarding Transformers 5 have been circling around the web. According to countless sources, Paramount Pictures have been jumping between directors, producers and cast members. The movie’s official IMDb page gives us too little info these days. The only 100% sure things right now are the fact that the project will hit theaters in 2017 and that Peter Cullen will reprise his role in the franchise as the voice of the mighty Optimus Prime – the leader of the Autobots.
Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf kicked off the movies’ initial success back in the not so distant 2007 with their roles of Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes. Fox left the franchise after the second movie – Transformers: Revenge of the Moon and LaBeouf made his final appearance in the movies after the 3rd installment of the franchise. However, new sources claim that Fox will be starring in the upcoming Transformers 5. Back in April this year the 28 year old Fox shared that she will be interested in reprising her role of Mikaela only if Shia would return. Unfortunately, back then it seemed like Shia would do anything not to work with the director Michael Bay again.
However, the 29 year old actor has patched up his relationship with Bay since April. New reports are claiming that Paramount Pictures might settle with Bay for Transformers 5, even though Bay has already stated once that he wouldn’t be interested in working on the installment again. So, if the rumors are true we will get Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf and Michael Bay working together again. Let’s keep our fingers crossed on this one, because the project has a long way to go until 2017!
