One of Mark Zuckerberg’s goals for this year is to build an AI robot for himself.
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the rest of the social networking websites out there were filled with New Year resolutions by the end of December 2015. The “New Year, new me” trend, however, is impressive only when celebrities make New Year resolutions. And Mark Zuckerberg has an exciting one.
The 31 year old entrepreneur and founder of Facebook shared that he wants to build an AI robot. If you’re wondering what this is, take a look at Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and his artificial intelligence operated robotic butler, named J.A.R.V.I.S., in Iron Man. So, what Zuckerberg actually wants is to build and program an AI robot, which will serve only his personal needs. In other words, he’s hoping he could invent his personal assistant, which would be able to help the entrepreneur navigate through his career by “visualizing data”, “leading his organizations more effectively”, and “building better services”. Regardless of the purposes of this robot, one thing is sure – it would be absolutely awesome to have one of those at your command!
Apart from building the AI robot, Zuckerberg also shared that he has another milestone he wants to achieve this year. The 31 year old Harvard University drop-out wants to run 365 miles in 2016. In other words, he wants to undertake the challenge to run a mile each day. After sharing this resolution with the entire Internet people from all over the world decided to support his personal challenge and to do the very same – that’s how the “a mile a day” challenge started.
Do you think running a mile a day is an easier task for Zuckerberg than building and programming an actual artificial intelligence?
