LEGO hit the shelves more than 6 decades ago, and has amazed and entertained generation of children (and adults!) ever since. Nowadays one extremely creative and tech-savvy man has managed to give us a cutting-edge look at good old LEGO with his amazing creation.
Diavo Voltaggio, a creative LEGO enthusiast from Chantilly, Virginia, managed to put together a whole cyborg arm finished off with 4 fingers using only LEGO Mindstorm EV3 particles. Diavo’s creation has a thumb and additional 3 fingers, which he can move with the slightest push of several buttons. He can also shake someone’s hand using his cyborg arm. Diavo presented his unique arm at the BrickFair held earlier this August in Virginia. He spent over 3 and a half hours walking around and showing off his arm.
This incredible creation, however, has several disadvantages. The first one is that it has only 4 fingers. Apart from this little downside, the arm’s battery also needs to be changed on an hourly basis and the whole prosthetic gets kind of heavy when you wear it longer than an hour or two. Nevertheless, it’s still incredible!
