There are numerous activities, objects and animals in this world that are able to send shivers of terror down our spines. Recently, the movie star Leonardo DiCaprio shared in an interview what his greatest fears were.
‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ lead actor opened up and shared a story in which he got attacked by an enormously big great white shark while he was trapped inside a cage with no way out. The horrific incident happened during a diving expedition near Cape Town, South Africa back in 2006. Leo was in the middle of a break from filming the movie “Blood Diamond” and a organization devoted to protecting sharks invited him to come along for a nice underwater tour.
When he agreed he probably had no idea what exactly he had signed up for. DiCaprio shared details about the accident in ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ and said that the great white shark went almost entirely inside the cage with him. The tuna that was used to bait the sharks got stuck on top of the cage and a hungry huge shark dove right on top of Leo. Almost half of the shark’s body went inside the cage and it even chomped a couple of times in an attempt to bite off some Hollywood star meat.
Although Leo was able to duck beneath the shark and avoid getting eaten he was left mentally scarred from what happened and pledged never to do that again.
