Let’s face it – we all love the fact that our favorite celebrities have Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or other social media profiles. And since we can find nearly anyone on the social media, we automatically turn down the possibility that a certain celebrity profile could be a fake one.
At least that’s what happened with a great number of Jorge Bucay fans. During his trip to Sofia, Bulgaria, this June, the celebrated Argentinian author told the media about the strange social media situations he’s been finding himself in recently. One of his female fans from Moscow, Russia, told him that his Russian was perfect. Mr. Bucay got shocked by that statement, but he was more shocked when the woman told him the two of them were exchanging messages in Facebook quite often. Furthermore, another fan of his made a remark about the naughty messages he was allegedly sending in the social media.
These are just a few of the great number of similar cases. It turns out Bucay has approximately 40 Facebook profiles – and they are all fake! As far as technology goes, he’s using only his fax machine.
