Johnny Depp, born in 1963 as John Christopher Depp II, is one of the most famous and noted actors who had played in many popular movies such as ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, ‘Edward Scissorhands’, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, ‘Sleepy Hollow’ and ‘Alice in Wonderland’. However, when Depp was young, his dream was to become a rock star.
Johnny’s mother gave him a guitar as a present when he was 12 years old and he started playing in different garage bands. He wanted to be a musician so much that he even dropped out of high school in 1982. Two weeks later he tried to return back to school but the principal advised him to pursue his big dream. Thus, Johnny Depp started playing in a band called The Kids but the band was not really successful. Fortunately, Depp’s first wife introduced him to Nicolas Cage who encouraged him to start an acting career.
