Before the existence of electric light, people would usually go to bed early as their only source of light was candlelight, which wasn’t very bright. However, nowadays people’s sleeping habits have changed significantly- for example, they tend to go to bed later. As a result, many men and women suffer from insomnia and wake up too tired in the morning.
According to experts at Colorado University, individuals who follow the schedule of the sun sleep better and get enough rest because the sun reduces the influence of artificial light and brings your body clock back to normal.
The scientists also found a way to deal with disturbed sleep. They claim that people who experience trouble sleeping at night should spend a week camping without using any electronic gadgets and devices. The experts say this will restore the balance of the hormone melatonin that controls sleep. In addition, this will synchronize the hormone with the sun, so that you will be able to sleep at night and feel full of energy when you wake up.
