By portraying the bright and witty Hermione Granger for nearly a decade the British actress Emma Watson made a fortune and made sure that people all around the world will know her name. However, apart from her net worth of £30million (nearly $50 million) Harry Potter also gave the star a great deal of criticism.
When commenting on critics, Watson states that she has gotten over people’s negativity towards her acting skills and looks. However, she can’t get over the fact that her facial features and body proportions usually end up photomanipulated and titled in order to present her into a model of perfection on the cover of multiple magazines. Watson is explicit on the matter of digital manipulation and airbrushing – she loathes it. The actress states that she’s excited about growing old and experiencing the ageing process. According to her, imperfect and elder women look more attractive and compelling to her. The actress is positive that there is no such thing as perfection and that the digitally achieved one is just an illusion imprinted in people’s heads.
She’ll probably think otherwise a decade or two from now.
