The 41 year old Drew Barrymore is divorcing Will Kopelman – her third husband, after only three years of marriage.
Hollywood marriages rarely last and Drew Barrymore is another clear example of how everything goes down the drain between married celebrity couples.
Drew’s first engagement came knocking on her door when she was only 16 years old. She was engaged to the grandson of the famous producer Leland Hayward, who was named after his grandfather. Their engagement lasted only a few months. The first official Mr. Barrymore was a bartender named Jeremy Thomas. Drew was only 19 years old when they married and the marriage lasted less than two months. Her second husband, comedian Tom Green, divorced her after six months of marriage.
In 2011 Drew started dating the son of Arie Kopelman, the former CEO for Chanel – Will. The two of them married in June 2012. They have two children together – a girl named Olive, who was born that same year, and her younger sister Frankie, who was born in 2014. Earlier this month Drew and Will announced that they are separating and that they will divorce. Barrymore’s third husband definitely lasted more than her previous ones – a total of three years. And while the media is thirsty to get the juicy details surrounding the divorce, the couple still hasn’t disclosed any reasons for divorcing each other. However, an unnamed source that is allegedly close to Barrymore, told the media that it might have something to do with the fact that she didn’t grow up in a calm and peaceful environment and was always a crazy kid with a “rebellious and wild childhood” – something she never quite grew out of. The source also claimed that Barrymore and Kopelman will remain close after the divorce for the sake of their daughters.
