Cristiano Ronaldo took part in a social experiment, dressed up as a homeless man and managed to fool everybody on the streets of Madrid by passing as an average beggar.
Real Madrid’s best player, Cristiano Ronaldo, is currently making headlines for a stunt he managed to pull off on the streets of downtown Madrid, Spain. The 30 year old Portuguese footballer dressed up in a fat suit and some sweatpants, a fake beard and a wig. By posing as a chubby homeless guy the football star started kicking around a football and pretending he was just showing off some impressive skills on the street in order to gain some money from unsuspecting passersby. Little did the people marching across Madrid’s streets know that the beggar was one of the best footballers in the world!
A short video of Ronaldo’s social experiment was just uploaded on the web. The video shows that the Real Madrid star is managing his disguise well and is fooling everybody. People don’t even pay attention to him for several hours up until some random guy decides to engage in a short tackle. At one point one little boy decides to start a fun kickabout with him. The 30 year old Ronaldo seems entertained enough to show the kid who he’s actually playing around with, so he takes off his wig and fake beard. Out of a sudden everybody spots the award-winning footballer, who used to pose as a homeless man up until now, and starts swarming the player.
Overall, the social experiment managed to prove some points. First off, Ronaldo is an exceptional player. Second, he made that kid’s day. And last, but not least – the experiment proved that people in general don’t really care about the homeless people living on the streets regardless of their talents and skills.
