Forget Ashton Kutcher, Christian Bale will be walking in the shoes of the co-founder and former chairman of the tech giant Apple.
Bradley Cooper’s and Leonardo DiCaprio’s names have been circling around the media lately in connection to a new movie that’s in the pipeline, based on the late Steve Jobs’ life and accomplishments. However, Christian Bale beat them to the spot for the main role. There were rumors flying around that he would be portraying Jobs, but Aaron Sorkin, the screenwriter of the biopic, finally confirmed the news officially. Bale, who aced the role of Batman in the Dark Knight trilogy, was described as a “phenomenal actor” by Sorkin. The screenwriter also added that Bale didn’t even need to audition for the part, because he was already considered as the best possible choice.
The biopic will be reportedly based on the biography of Jobs written by Walter Isaacson.
