Sylvester Stallone is one of the most prominent American actors notable for his action film roles. His most famous roles include the portrayals of the boxing champion Rocky Balboa and the American soldier John Rambo. He did not only star in a substantial amount of successful action movies but he also wrote the screenplays and even directed some of them.
But like most of the successful actors today his career start in acting was quite rough. At one point in the early dawn of his career Sly was forced to make a tough choice. He was left broke and homeless with only two prized possessions. His dog companion, the bullmastiff Butkus, and the semi-finished script for his breakthrough movie “Rocky”. So at the time, Stallone was forced to give up his dog and he sold him for only $50. Eventually, Stallone was able to sell the script for his most notable movie “Rocky” just a week later and he bought back his beloved dog Butkus. The actor had to spend $3,000 as the person who bought it tried to blackmail Stallone but he paid the price as he only wanted to get his dog back.
