It’s a big deal to receive a compliment about your acting from Anthony Hopkins. Actor Bryan Cranston, who played the part of the villain Walter White in the “Breaking Bad” series, is one of the few to have had that honor.
Hopkins sent an email to Cranston, telling him his performance was the best he had ever seen. In the correspondence, the great actor explained that he was only a recent fan of “Breaking Bad,” having recently engaged in a marathon viewing session of the entire show. Hopkins said he was “greatly impressed” with the series and with the cast. Mr. Hopkins also added that he was absolutely stunned. According to him the cast had done a great job and everyone involved had shown great power in making the production extraordinary.
The letter was published online by another actor performing in “Breaking Bad” – Steven Michael Quezada. Given that Hopkins considered to be one of the finest actors of all time, the cast was doubtless extremely flattered by his praise.
