Dogs may be the man’s best friend, but by the looks of it, cats are the real saviors.
Back in February 2012 Amy Jung took her son Ethan to a local animal shelter in Wisconsin. Two of the cats, a tabby male named Pudding and another one named Wimsy, quickly won them over and they rescued them. Shortly after the feline fur balls were taken to their new home Amy, who’s a lifelong diabetic, had a seizure while she was sleeping. Pudding immediately realized something was wrong with his new owner, so he started jumping on Amy and pawing her until he brought her back to conscience. Amy called out for her son, but Ethan was asleep. Pudding jumped repeatedly on his bed until he woke him up in order to help Amy, thus saving her life. Ever since then Pudding has been trainer to sit in Amy’s feet and start meowing whenever her blood sugar drops.
Experts believe this was Pudding’s way of returning Amy the favor by saving her after she saved him from the shelter, where he has lived from 2003 to 2012.
