Electronic Arts Inc., better known as EA, makes almost every kid’s dreams come true. From Sims to Star Wars and FIFA – they do it all. However, by the looks of it not every parent is amused by the fact that the kids are hooked up on the US game developer’s products.
An angry mother, identified only as Sue, publicly complained on BBC about EA and their cunning ways of making children spend a fortune on their games. In Sue’s case her 13 year old son had blown up more than $6,000 on her credit card in no time while playing FIFA 14. According to the mother, the kid wanted to give a little boost to his game. Unfortunately, the teenager didn’t realize what he had done and things had gotten out of control.
Sue has slammed the game company on the Breakfast Show. She publicly claimed that EA and other similar companies are making a fortune out of reckless kids and instead of thinking about child safety, they are enjoying the huge bills their parents have to pay.
