After watching Optimus Prime on television a young boy wanted to be just like his hero a truck that transforms into a robot and is also 100 feet tall.
The boys dad says
He began to drink gasoline five years ago, when we found he liked smelling lighter fluid.
The parents of the young boy ran a small shop that sold lighters. The were finding lighters with fluid drained out of them very frequently, when the son was asked about it, he didn’t say a whole lot.
The father said
We found our motorcycle’s gasoline was always disappearing, and one day when we found the boy had drunk a half bottle of gasoline stolen from the motorcycle, we were too shocked to say anything.
The boys parents locked the motorcycle out of his reach, and the boy became acting as if he was addicted to the gasoline. He would steal the gas from cars that belonged to the neighbors around them. His brain was altered from all of the gasoline, at least, that’s what his parents say.
Since my son started to drink gas, his IQ dropped sharply and now he can’t figure out simple addition and subtraction. Before that, he was a very smart boy, and he could even repair the television. But now he does not know the answer of 7 plus 17.
The boys father said.
He has been hospitalized for being dependent on gasoline and doctors said that leaded gasoline has done serious brain damage.
Super Heroes can be great idols for children. Sometimes, they yearn to be like them so badly that they will go to extreme measures. It’s just a good thing the parents caught on to this or it could have ended very very badly for this young boy.
