When a good Samaritan pulled over on a Honolulu freeway to help victims of a car crash, the last thing she expected was to get her car stolen…by two of the victims!
Official reports state that Jennifer Jones was driving on a freeway in Honolulu, Hawaii, last weekend when she witnessed a SUV swerving and crashing into a median. The woman immediately pulled over and rushed to the car. She saw two men and a heavily injured woman. As Jones tried to pull the woman out of the SUV, the two men got out of the vehicle and stole Jones’ Mazda Miata, driving off with the woman’s car. Fortunately for her, the police were able to track down her car with the help of the woman’s phone. When police officers found the Mazda, they arrested the 22 year old driver in it. However, the other man had already escaped.
The injured victim had been rushed into a hospital for her injuries. The police reported the crashed SUV had been stolen and that the other man is still on the run.
