In February 2011 one particular 82-year-old resident of Memphis, Tennessee named Jean Wilson got into a serious accident at her home. The poor woman fell down the stairs and was immobilized for a few days. She couldn’t reach her telephone so she could call 911 and simply had to wait for a miracle to happen.
Luckily Mrs. Wilson was a usual customer of Domino’s pizza. She used to order pepperoni pizza and two diet sodas every single day for the past 3 years. The pizza delivery woman working at Domino’s named Susan Guy knew Mrs. Wilson quite well. The restaurant began preparing her order even before Mrs. Wilson called. Her orders became a part of the daily routine and the pizza delivery woman was quite fond of her.
So, when Mrs. Wilson stopped ordering her usual pizza for more than 3 days Guy knew that something was wrong. It was then when the pizza delivery driver decided to clock out from work and go to Mrs. Wilson address and check up on her. This is when she knocked on the door and heard a desperate cry for help. This unusual break in the pizza order pattern might have saved Mrs. Wilson’s life. She was later rushed into the hospital where her injuries were successfully treated.
