Maria Ignacio of Winnipeg, Canada, had a clingy and sticky boyfriend. Their relationship has been going on and off for several years and she wanted to get rid of him. However, she couldn’t convince him she wasn’t a marriage material in any way so she decided to take extreme measures. Maria stole his credit card and over the course of 4 years she withdrew from it $21,000. Her actions were supposed to prove him that she was no good.
But what Maria didn’t expect was to face legal charges for her theft. The judge didn’t believe the reason behind the woman’s actions and she had to pay back the money and an additional $750 fine. Maria was also sentenced to a year of probation. Fortunately for her, she had kept the stolen money in a shoe box without spending a cent of it.
Talk about taking extreme measures in order to get rid of your boyfriend!
