Hamburgers are bad for your health. McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King – no matter what kind of burgers, they can cause you multiple problems like obesity, high blood pressure and even a dislocation of your jaw, as recent reports state.
25 year old Nicola Peate from UK went for a burger at Almost Famous in Liverpool. She ordered a Kids in America burger, but couldn’t fully enjoy the highly caloric snack because she accidentally dislocated her jaw while munching on the burger. Nicola didn’t realize what was happening to her. She felt ill and experienced pain in various places, from her tongue to her ears. The following day she experienced a bad headache and doctors found out she had a medical condition called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which makes her prone to dislocated joints. Fortunately, medics at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital managed to put her jaw back in its place.
Nicole tweeted about her unusual experience and shortly after the hospital did a press release. Fortunately for Nicole, she’s better at handling fame than handling a hamburger.
