Carol Kingston is a 67-year-old former store manager who lives in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, UK. She has a husband named John and two already grown up children who no longer live with them.
More than 30 years ago Carol and her family experienced something very strange and even supernatural. The year was 1982 and on a regular May morning someone rang the doorbell at Carol’s home. Her husband John went downstairs the check who it was, but there was no one there. For some unexplained reason Carol had the strange sensation that it was her younger brother Steve. He was a 25-year-old officer in the Special Air Service (SAS) and he was based nearby Milton Keynes.
After the first ring another one followed minutes later. John went back to check who it was but again there was no one at the door. The doorbell rang a couple of more times after but the family chose to ignore it. It wasn’t until 10 a.m. in the morning that Carol received the devastating news that her brother had been killed in a helicopter crash in the Falklands.
The strangest part is that she and her oldest son Robin who was 8 years old at the time shared a common dream during the night. They both dreamed how Steve had drowned in the cold waters. They also dreamed how he had risen above the water and told them he was OK and not to worry. Later it was discovered that Steve did indeed drown into the harsh waters of the South Atlantic.
