The US emergency services hotline has to deal with extremely unusual and silly phone calls each day. However, one American woman made such a ground-braking complain that she landed in the headlines.
According to official reports, Bevalente Hall, a 37 year old woman from North Carolina, made a call to 911 when she ordered a pizza at a Subway restaurant. The woman’s emergency situation was the misplaced marinara sauce on top of her pizza. The woman tried to get a refund for the mistake, but she couldn’t get one, so she ordered another sandwich. According to her, her mother’s order was taken without any complications, but Bevalente was extremely upset about her messed up pizza. The North Carolina police arrested the 37 year old and charged her with misuse of the emergency hotline.
According to the woman’s husband, Bevalente actually called 911 after she had a verbal fight with the Subway staff and after a police officer allegedly yelled at her.
