High school can be extremely hard for teenagers, especially if they fail their classes. But in this day and age technology makes it possible for everyone to have excellent grades – at least that’s what an 18 year old kid thought.
According to official reports, Jose Bautista has faced a number of felony charges after using his school’s computer system for modifying grades. The 18 year old, who goes to Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School in Miami, Florida, broke into the principal’s office and hacked into the system in order to modify his own grades and the grades of four other classmates. According to the principal, Jose turned himself in by confessing everything. The school’s policy threatened Jose with recommendation for expulsion, but the local police had other plans for the teen.
Jose’s been put on a house arrest and ordered to wear a special GPS monitor so he doesn’t cheat again.
