There is nothing more “dangerous” than a thief with a horribly bad memory. Recently, a 42-year-old man from New Jersey was arrested for burglarizing a house located in Haddon Township, N.J.
The burglar later identified as Carlos Ruiz, 42 decided to invade the private property of a family that has gone on vacation. He was captured by hidden surveillance cameras as he parked his SUV in front of the home. The culprit then used a crowbar to break into the home. The 42-year-old thief did not spend more than 10 minutes inside the house. He was able to feed the small dog of the homeowners and get away with their expensive sound system as well as other valuable items. He did one major mistake by forgetting to snatch the sound system’s remote control. More than 30 minutes after he left the premises the thief realized his mistake and decided to come back to the scene of the crime.
It was then when the cops surprisingly apprehended him. Carloz Ruiz now resides at the Camden County Correctional Facility on a $100,000 bond for forgetting something as simple as a remote control.
