When you plan robbing a bank you not only need a solid plan how to get past security but how to escape with the cash as well.
A 26-year-old man named Robin Gutheridge decided very foolishly to rob the Chase Bank Branch in Syracuse, NY. When the police officers chased him tirelessly for a couple of blocks Gutheridge decided to enter the Clinton Plaza Apartments which were not very far away from the bank he had just robbed . When the police officers closed in on him very quickly Gutheridge had already reached the 21 floor of the building with nowhere to run anymore. This was when he decided that it would be a great idea to escape being arrested by jumping into the garbage chute.
The bank robber miraculously survived a 210 feet drop. Sadly for him, he was too badly injured to continue evading the imminent police arrest. Gutheridge got severe injuries including a broken leg, broken arm and serious head trauma. When the police found him he was screaming incapacitated from inside the garbage compactor on the bottom of the chute. Gutheridge was arrested and now awaits his court verdict.
