Recently, in the town of Flinders View in Australia an intoxicated 19-year-old teenager decided to conduct an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven store. Apparently, the teenager drew inspiration from the movie “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, so he armed himself with a chainsaw which he allegedly stole from somewhere else. In order to conceal his identity he put a flower jar on his head.
After the preparation was made the teen went inside the 7-11 store while wielding the running chainsaw. He managed to damage the store’s window, a parked vehicle and a few shelves while terrifying both clerks who were on duty. The robber demanded to be given all the cash from the register, but the scared clerks decided to hide in the safe room in the back of the store. The teen robber failed at opening the cash register, so he left the store only with a bottle of soda he was able to swipe on his way out. Luckily no one was injured during the incident.
Later the chainsaw-wielding culprit was identified as Steven Frank Steele and arrested by the police. He was charged with armed robbery and a slew of other charges.
